CTIN’s Educational Outreach
goes International
CTIN
partnered with EntreAmigos, a California Non Profit
Benefit Organization which was created to provide for
the needs of school children in one of the poorest areas
in Mexico, the State of Nayarit. EntreAmigos has started
and stocked the first library in the town of San Pancho.
William
Garrison and Frank Clark of the Pierce County
Prosecutors Office have been working on this project for
CTIN and are in the process of obtaining 50 computers,
monitors, keyboards and mice for this project. The
computers are obtained from different offices in Pierce
County Government as new ones are installed. The
computers are cleaned up, the hard disks wiped and
imaged before being packaged for shipment. They are to
be shipped the middle of December.
The Governor of
Nayarit, Mexico and other government officials have
expressed their sincere appreciation to CTIN for this
effort.
We are still in
need of surge protectors, printers and packaging (boxes)
for monitors for this project. If you or your agency can
assist in obtaining these items please contact Frank
Clark, 253-798-6753 or email at:
